Without doubt, having made to measure roman blinds can play an essential part in creating that classic refined finish you've always wanted. You wouldn't have the sizing options that are necessary to achieve this look, by using pre-packed roman blinds.

With us at curtains made for free, we'll custom make your Rushock Ochre Roman Blinds to whatever sizes you require. And furthermore, we provide our blind making service at no additional cost, so you'll only need to pay for the materials.

If you're installing your blind in a recessed window, we suggest deducting 10mm from your wall to wall width measurement to ensure a good fit. Each roman blind includes an enclosed deluxe headrail cassette system which features a sidewinder chain pull, allowing you to lower and raise your blind effortlessly.

All of our roman blind fabrics have been carefully selected for their luxurious quality and design. We hand finish each blind to minimise visible stitching, giving you a superior custom look.

Note: We strongly recommend choosing our ivory interlined blackout lining for your Roman blind, this improves the pleating, appearance and drape of the blind, even more so on larger blinds which require two widths of fabric.

With our 100% cotton Super Soft Ivory Blackout Lining, you not only get a lovely soft feeling fabric which does an excellent job of blocking out the light, but you also have a lining that works very well to help keep out those unwanted drafts.

Interlined Ivory Blackout Lining

Our Interlined Ivory Blackout Lining is a premium quality fabric that is ideal for blocking out the light and keeping your room dark. The lining will provide your curtains with a lovely extra layer of padding, creating a more luxurious feel. Its insulating properties means you’ll also reduce those unwanted chilly drafts from your window.

Interlined Cotton Sateen Ivory Lining

The Interlined Cotton Sateen Ivory Lining is made from 100% cotton and will give your curtains a lovely thicker feel. Its insulating qualities also work very well to help keep unwanted window drafts at bay.

Thermal Ivory Lining

With our 100% cotton Thermal Ivory Lining, you have the advantage of a gorgeous brushed cotton reverse fabric that will keep out unwanted window drafts, yet still allow light to penetrate through. It's a perfect choice of lining if you have cold windows but don't want to compromise on available light.

We strongly recommend choosing our ivory interlined blackout lining, this improves the pleating and drape of the blind.

Choose Your Blind Style
Blind style:

Standard Pleat Roman Blind

Our standard pleat roman blind is the more simple, modern style of roman blind, the top pleat would be approximately 17-25cm deep and all other pleats would fall directly behind. This style would suit a fabric with a larger pattern (plain and striped fabric also work well) complimenting a more contemporary or modern style of décor.

Cascade Pleat Roman Blind

Our Cascade Pleat roman blind is the more decorative option of pleat, the top pleat is smaller than the standard option and the remainding pleats are staggered below giving a more detailed look – this style would suit fabric with a small pattern (plains and striped fabrics also work well) and offers a more classic decorative style.

The overall length of the roman blind when they are in the ‘up’ position would be very similar with both styles of pleating, (approx. 17cm – 25cm) for a more exact depth, please contact us with your required sizes.

Choose Your Chain Pull Options

Chain length is the actual chain drop, E.G a chain length of 50cm, would have a 100cm overall loop.

The chain can be as short as you would like, it does not need to be a particular length according to the length of the actual roman blind as it works on a continuos loop.

Safety recommendations state that the bottom of a blind chain should be at least 150cm above floor height.

We do supply child safety clips which can be fitted to ensure the roman blind chain does not hang loose.

Hi,
I have been using your website to search for fabrics to order some samples from you. I would just like to ask if it is possible for all the fabrics to be put on pages that are numbered, instead of one continuous page. As when I have left the catalogue page to look closer at a sample and then pressed the back key , the website took me back to the first page every time and I have had to scroll through all the fabrics again to find where I had left off. very frustrating and time consuming, especially with so many fabrics to look at. It would also be great if the website remembered the page you were on and took you back each time to that page. ( most clothing stores websites have that system)
