Having made to measure roman blinds, can undoubtedly, make all the difference in creating that truly unique look you've had your heart set on. You shouldn't have to be limited by the default sizes of pre-packed roman blinds.

Here at curtains made for free, you don't need to worry, because we'll custom make your March Hare Pastel Roman Blinds to whatever sizes you need. On top of that, we'll make your blinds absolutely free, so all you pay for is materials.

If your blind is going to be installed in a recessed window, we advise taking 10mm off your wall to wall width to be sure of a good fit. We include a compact headrail cassette system with all our roman blinds which features a sidewinder chain pull mechanism, enabling you to raise and lower the blind with ease.

Every roman blind fabric in our collection has been carefully chosen to due to its premium quality and design. We hand finish each blind to greatly reduce visible stitching, ensuring you have a superior custom look and feel.

Note: We strongly recommend choosing our ivory interlined blackout lining for your Roman blind, this improves the pleating, appearance and drape of the blind, even more so on larger blinds which require two widths of fabric.

Cotton Sateen Ivory Lining

If you're looking for a lovely soft to touch fabric that has a luxurious crease resistant finish, then our high thread count Cotton Sateen Ivory Lining is the perfect choice for you.

Super Soft Ivory Blackout Lining

Our Super Soft Ivory Blackout Lining, is a high quality, 100% cotton and very soft to touch. This lining will not allow light to penetrate it – perfect for keeping rooms dark. This lining also has insulating properties and will help keep window drafts at bay.

Interlined Ivory Blackout Lining

Our Interlined Ivory Blackout Lining is a premium quality fabric that is ideal for blocking out the light and keeping your room dark. The lining will provide your curtains with a lovely extra layer of padding, creating a more luxurious feel. Its insulating properties means you’ll also reduce those unwanted chilly drafts from your window.

Interlined Cotton Sateen Ivory Lining

The extra padding of our interlined cotton lining will give your curtains a lovely fuller appearance, the extra layer also helps to significantly reduce window drafts from penetrating.

Thermal Ivory Lining

The 100% cotton Thermal Ivory Lining is an excellent quality fabric that has a lovely brushed cotton reverse. This lining will allow light to pass through it but no drafts, making it an ideal choice if you need your curtains to block out those chilly window drafts, but don’t want to restrict any daylight from penetrating.

We strongly recommend choosing our ivory interlined blackout lining, this improves the pleating and drape of the blind.

Choose Your Blind Style
Blind style:

Standard Pleat Roman Blind

Our standard pleat roman blind is the more simple, modern style of roman blind, the top pleat would be approximately 17-25cm deep and all other pleats would fall directly behind. This style would suit a fabric with a larger pattern (plain and striped fabric also work well) complimenting a more contemporary or modern style of décor.

Cascade Pleat Roman Blind

Our Cascade Pleat roman blind is the more decorative option of pleat, the top pleat is smaller than the standard option and the remainding pleats are staggered below giving a more detailed look – this style would suit fabric with a small pattern (plains and striped fabrics also work well) and offers a more classic decorative style.

The overall length of the roman blind when they are in the ‘up’ position would be very similar with both styles of pleating, (approx. 17cm – 25cm) for a more exact depth, please contact us with your required sizes.

Choose Your Chain Pull Options

Chain length is the actual chain drop, E.G a chain length of 50cm, would have a 100cm overall loop.

The chain can be as short as you would like, it does not need to be a particular length according to the length of the actual roman blind as it works on a continuos loop.

Safety recommendations state that the bottom of a blind chain should be at least 150cm above floor height.

We do supply child safety clips which can be fitted to ensure the roman blind chain does not hang loose.
