There's no doubt that having made to measure roman blinds can play a significant part in conjuring up that classic contemporary feel youve been looking for. You shouldn't have to make do with the limited size options that come with pre-packed roman blinds.

Here at curtains made for free, you don't need to worry, because we'll custom make your Henley Chambray Roman Blinds to whatever sizes you need. We also provide this service absolutely free of charge, so the only cost to you would be the materials.

If your blind is going within a recessed window, we suggest that you take 1cm off your width measurement to make sure it fits correctly. We incorporate a sleek headrail cassette system with all our roman blinds complete with a sidewinder pull cord, making it very simple to raise and lower the blind.

Our roman blind fabrics are carefully chosen based on their premium quality and design. Each blind is finished by hand to minimise visible stitching, ensuring you get a superior tailored look.

Note: We strongly recommend choosing our ivory interlined blackout lining for your Roman blind, this improves the pleating, appearance and drape of the blind, even more so on larger blinds which require two widths of fabric.

Choose Your Lining Style

Cotton Sateen Ivory Lining

The fabric used for our Cotton Sateen Ivory Lining has a lovely crease free finish with a delightfully soft and luxurious feel.

Super Soft Ivory Blackout Lining

Our Super Soft Ivory Blackout Lining is a 100% cotton premium quality fabric, with a lovely smooth feel. It’s a great lining for stopping light in its tracks and helping to keep those chilly window drafts away.

Interlined Ivory Blackout Lining

With our Interlined Ivory Blackout Lining, your curtains will have an interlining layer that does a excellent job of blocking out the light and help keep those unwelcome window drafts at bay. The lining will also give your curtains a lovely extra layer of padding, making them appear fuller and more luxurious.

Interlined Cotton Sateen Ivory Lining

Our interlined 100% cotton lining will give your curtains an extra layer of padding for a more luxurious feel, it’s insulating properties also help to keep out window drafts.

Thermal Ivory Lining

Our Thermal Ivory Lining is a high quality 100% cotton lining with a brushed cotton reverse, this lining will help keep window drafts at bay, but will allow light to penetrate through the curtain – great for curtains at cold windows without the need to block out the light.

We strongly recommend choosing our ivory interlined blackout lining, this improves the pleating and drape of the blind.

Choose Your Blind Style
Blind style:

Standard Pleat Roman Blind

Our standard pleat roman blind is the more simple, modern style of roman blind, the top pleat would be approximately 17-25cm deep and all other pleats would fall directly behind. This style would suit a fabric with a larger pattern (plain and striped fabric also work well) complimenting a more contemporary or modern style of décor.

Cascade Pleat Roman Blind

Our Cascade Pleat roman blind is the more decorative option of pleat, the top pleat is smaller than the standard option and the remainding pleats are staggered below giving a more detailed look – this style would suit fabric with a small pattern (plains and striped fabrics also work well) and offers a more classic decorative style.

The overall length of the roman blind when they are in the ‘up’ position would be very similar with both styles of pleating, (approx. 17cm – 25cm) for a more exact depth, please contact us with your required sizes.

Choose Your Chain Pull Options

Chain length is the actual chain drop, E.G a chain length of 50cm, would have a 100cm overall loop.

The chain can be as short as you would like, it does not need to be a particular length according to the length of the actual roman blind as it works on a continuos loop.

Safety recommendations state that the bottom of a blind chain should be at least 150cm above floor height.

We do supply child safety clips which can be fitted to ensure the roman blind chain does not hang loose.
