A = The width of the window recess*
B = The length of the window recess (the drop)*

*Measure both the top and bottom width of the window recess (there may be a difference) and use the smallest measurement.

A = The width of the blind
B = The length of the blind (the drop)

For outside recess blinds, we would normally recommend that you add 10cm to each side of the window recess, and to the top and bottom to ensure that the window is fully covered, however, it is your choice, and some windows/rooms will not allow for this, therefore the width and length (drop) is entirely up to you. If you would like your blind to be fitted onto a wooden baton above the window, simply measure from the top of the baton, to the point where you want your blind to finish. Our blinds are supplied with silver, or gold chain pulls and you can specify whether you would prefer left or right hand. Our blinds are blackout lined as standard, we believe that blackout lining gives a great weight and finish to roman blinds, together with the blackout effect
